Leather peeling on the seat?

Hey guys, i got in my car today and noticed the top layer of leather peeling. Do you think this will be covered under warranty? The car is a 2013 A5 with 38k miles on it. I have no idea how this happened as i baby the car and have taken care of it meticulously since i got it. It did pour yesterday and some water may have gotten on the seat as i was getting in and out.

Did you buy the car new ? Looks to me like someone did a horrible repair job on it

I bought it used but the dark spot on the leather and the peeling wasnt there until today.

That's not normal. I wonder if it was cleaned with something that caused that reaction. That definitely looks like it was repaired with one of those infomercial pleather repair kits.

thats been repaired thats why its peeling.

I agree with others that is very obviously a painted patch that is pealing up. You can clearly see the texture and color change in a nice sized oval above the pealing spot.

The seats look exactly like his, i am almost positive the seats were never repaired bc i inspected everything when i purchased the car and would have definitely noticed something like that.

looks like the dealer or prior owner tried to hide the leather creases and used some sort of dye or something like it.

Yea, that seat has been sprayed. I've seen it many times.

Audi will not help at all, but contact them for a legit repair guy. Or maybe hit up your local pro detail shop for a reference. It can be fixed for not much spend.
