CTS turbo catted down pipe or USP catted down pipe. Any opinions and/or reviews?

The USP one is on a great sale right now so I'm just curious on both. I think both have the same design.

    This will be on a jb1 s3

The cts pipe has an upstream cat (same location as the oem cat) with a 3.5" outlet that tapers to 3" and then to 2.5" to mate with the stock cat back. The usp is 3" all the way through with the cat located downstream. Honestly the gains will probably be similar and depends more on the tune you go with. You probably can't go wrong either way. I went with the USP because the deal was too good to pass up.

It definitely looks like it's up top. So it would sit right after the turbo. I just checked right now.

CTS and USP actually both have the cat downstream. The only downpipes that have the catalyst upstream, before the rear O2 sensor, are Bull-X, AWE, Milltek and Unitronic (likely more that I am missing).

My catted usp dp made a huge difference for my A3 with jb1. As fast/faster than a stock S3 now. For the price the usp is the solid choice over the overpriced competition.

Gotcha, I just saw the wide opening with the o2 sensor up top on cts' website so I assumed the hfc was mounted up there. Also the lower part of the downpipe looked like it was 3" all the way through so I assumed it was a straight pipe. I've never seen one in person, but I know you've installed a bunch so thanks for chiming in. Btw I'm going to need to schedule an appointment with you for an install. Everyone says great things about you!
