Don't know which one of us will jump first Sin, but either way whoever is first should probably fit one bulb and then take photo or video showing difference, plan?

LEDs tested to work & look good in your Audi. Lifetime Warranty on all LEDs!

I installed the deAutoLED front turn signal LEDs tonight. They are correct when they say they are "error free" AND they don't "hyper flash". They are bright and look good when in use. The only draw back is that they will flash every 26 seconds because the car is pulsing the electrical system looking for burnt out bulbs. There is enough resistance in the bulb to not register as being "out", but the LED will flash once. This is the same issue I have with my LED reverse lights. Jury is out if I want to keep them or not.

If someone is not looking for it, it can easily be missed or they will think "did I just see something"? I will post a video for reference.

20ohm resistor will do the trick and they won't flash

Here is a short clip of the "blip". Blink and you may miss it.

Edit: Well that was an epic fail! The frame rate of the play back is so slow, it doesn't show the "blip". I will see how it works out in slo-motion.

I was able to freeze the video and screen capture the "blip" on the drivers side.

    I give up!!

We take pride in selling LEDs that do not require any resistors and many don't want to tap into their wires.

Our LEDs: error free plug and play - we honestly never seen this and we really want to say this might be unique to your car - do you have any other VCD mods on your car? If you have other mods on your car this could affect the voltage and it might not be our LED causing this as we really have not seen it yet in other models. And is it only 1 side doing this, not both? And the car is started not off with headlights on? Sorry for these questions, we just want to confirm everything.

Are you able to post it on youtube or send the video to us [email protected] - we want to see how bright / how long or noticeable it is.

    Thank you

I am the first (that I know of) that has put your bulb in the C6 platform. I don't believe this is unique to my car as my LED reverse lights (not your bulbs) do the exact same thing; which has been reported by another member of our forum who resides in the U.K. I truly believe it is the way the car is. Every 26 seconds, the car sends a pulse of electricity through all the bulbs looking to see it there is a bulb out. That is how we get a bulb out warning for a bulb that has burned out (i.e. Fog light) without the light even being powered.
I have several VCDS mods but nothing with the electrical system.
Please understand I am not slamming your product AT ALL. In fact, I give your company kudos for doing something no other company has been able to do and that is produce a LED bulb that does not throw error codes or hyper flashes.
As for the "blip" it is not bright, very quick and does it on both sides (driver first then passenger a split second later). As you can tell from my prior post, it is so fast that when trying to view the video via the posting, it does not show (a function of the refresh rate of the monitor, etc).
It will not "blip" when the car is completely turned off, but will do it once the car is in the "run" position regardless if the car is running or not and regardless if the headlights are on or off.

I would be happy to try and email the video clips to you but again, when viewing on anything other than the iPhone, it doesn't show up. I am going to try and do a "FaceTime" with another member of the forum tomorrow to see if he can see it live. I will let you know how that goes.

Right . So i have researching this so some time and manage to find out . Some c6 will be fine some not.

c6 is sending impuls first to one then to another and compare resistance. If its the same its fine . If not it will show up as bulb fault.

The idea of having 20ohm resistor is the impuls send to the bulb will stop at the resistor and led won't light up. As led is so much better then normal bulb and reacts much quicker to the current it causes the flick.

You cannot swith off the bulb check.

As my colleague said its great that you guys are tying to be different and im sure that most of c6 owners would buy if you will manage to sort the issue out. If you needs testers for the leds im the first one in line as i would love to change all of the external bulbs for led

@niedzial I'm intrigued by your comment "some C6 will be fine, some not"

What is that based on, model year or? I'm curious.

I share the same year as Sin and have a set of these on there way to me as we speak. So I fully expect to experience the same result as Sin but will confirm when they here, Monday I assume.

Thanks for running with this SinCity. My LED DRL's do the same thing and a flash every 25-30 seconds or so.

I notice it in traffic when I can see my car reflecting off of the car in front of me. Pretty noticeable at night when the DRL's are off. No bulb out warning or error. That part of error free is true. Other LED suppliers claim this too. Thinking a flash when not in use twice a minute is not desirable and is a functional error in my opinion.

Going to pull my LED DRL's once I get some regular color matched bulbs that will look good.

D's Avant, I'm in agreement with your argument that this needs a fix, and I wait to comment fully until my set have arrived and are fitted but having watched Sin's video of the way the indicators/directionals flash, I'm not convinced it poses a problem.

It's not bright and very quick, perhaps different to DRL

That said, I'll need to see how my car reacts and what progess the seller can make.

This seems to be how the turns act ONLY in this model and this is the first we are hearing about it. If this is an issue for you, you can please send it back or try to use resistors to tap into your wires. Just let us know what you'd like to do through email. [email protected] so they can quickly help you.

For the DRLs - which ones are you referring to D's Avant ? Can you please link as we don't have any emails about this issue from anyone so we are not sure if you are referring to our product or a different one.

    Thank you

Good question. I could not find an answer to what makes the difference. It seems that some c6 simply don't like led :)

I do not have your companies LED DRL's (I should have stated that more clearly in my post); can you guarantee your LED DRL's will not flicker when power is on for the car and the DRL's are off/main headlights are on? If yes I will order a pair of yours.

Ok thank you for clearing it up, we want to say no simply because we never seen it but then again we never seen this issue with the turns and it is happening, we just designed reverse LEDs that are error free in all Audi models except the Q7 so the electronic differences might be small but they really change how LEDs will act.

    Hi Guys,

My LED for the A6 front directionals arrived today, thanks for the quick shipping.

Unfortunately I am experiencing exactly the same 26 second cycle and flashing that Sincity had on his, but if anything a bit brighter.

This will be a little too distracting on the road and highly likely an inspection failure in MA.

Please can you advise return instructions and should you manage to resolve this in the future, I'll be the first hitting the order button!

    A couple of questions..
    - If i dont select the footwell option in the drop down, does it still come with a standard footwell set or none at all?
    - do the red/blue footwell bulbs stay as bright as in the photos when the doors are closed as well? Or do they dim a bit. If they do dimm, do you have any photos of how dim they get?

Thanks for the questions - if you don't choose footwells it won't come with any as the footwells are the LED model.

Our LEDs red/blue and white will act exactly like your current bulbs, if your bulbs dim ours will also - no photos of the LEDs on dim.

    Thank you

I got all my deAutoLED's installed that I ordered except for the rear door puddle lights. Love the look but need to change these and was wondering who has any tips on getting the rear puddle's in. I popped off the drivers side rear one but didn't disconnect it yet since I've read about the wires being too short and yes it's short. Does anyone have any tips on how they did theirs?

I got the rear puddle lights in. Since the wire is too short to disconnect and reconnect the light housing, I popped out the rear puddle lights and left everything connected, removed the white plastic covers, and used needle nose pliers to gently pull out the wedge bulb. I then took my LED wedge lights and gently pushed it into the holder. Popped the rear puddle lights back into the door, closed it and reopened and now I have my all my LED's working!

These look good, have they been tested on the C6 to be flicker free?

Any chance of a flicker free DRL LED for the C6 as well? Need to pull the ones I have now from another manufacturer, just hate to go back to the regular bulbs.

Hi, no flickering after startup - could flicker upon start but that is normal for any LED.

But we have tested these in many AUDI models with no issues.

Let us know if you have any questions.

    Now, check this!:

Talk about BRIGHT! Super easy install since the kit comes with 3 different figments for the insert where your current bulb fits. Comes with extra double sided adhesive and Velcro if you wish to mount it where felt liner may be.

I do have a question, the pre-facelift A6 C6 uses a 1156 bulb in the DRL spot. Are you saying that your LED 1156 bulbs will not flicker every 30 seconds once they have completed their startup for the C6? I know they won't error, I just do not want the flicker every 30 seconds that the C6 does its test. Have they been tested on a C6?

    Thanks

Hi we are not sure, but it seems that some have that issue so we are unable to say they won't, sorry.
