It was late at night in NJ deer plagued back roads, and she was sick of full of WOT launches hitting 100 mph. So we made an agreement to stay in gear 'til home and I made 25 miles in 4th in less than 30 minutes. Can you do better that this?

I nearly stopped in intersections/ deer crossings, and hit 90 on good straights. Let me know if you can do better... Only back road records in a single gear count!

Talk about about stupid. If your going to do it, you should do it during the day not at night where deer are more active and the possibility of a stupid drive with no lights on that you can't see. i like to drive spirtly on some back roads. But I don't drive that fast and its during the day not night.

it's not ok to have deer runs in the back roads with the wife in the car, yet it's ok to run flat out multiple passes against 2020 m3's and gtr/rs7 on city roads?

    more importantly happy Independence Day!

I won't get on your case for driving fast on country roads at night as I do it as well.

Piece of advise: upgrade your fog lights. I have 3800lm bulbs on each side and run with those and my highbeams on. It lights up everything in front of and on the side of my car.

As for driving in one gear for that long: no thanks.

Great gif indeed. Couldn't figure out how to post a gif via mobile app, appreciate the help.

I learned how to correctly post a gif today, perhaps this thread wasn't a complete waste of life.

I'm sorry, but you did this because of harsh shifts? Maybe practice driving a manual car before taking your wife out again. You shouldn't have any harsh shifts if you drive correctly.

I always use a little chewing gum on these rides. It filters out the pollutants. Of course you've got some good grillwork there to keep out the ozone. I gotta get this thing up to 95, uh, check out the fluorocarbon output.
