Will not rev past 1800 rpm. Problem occurred before I changed the throttle body an was back in action for 1 month. My wonderful fiancé takes the car to work an problem along with lights back an screams at a top speed of 20 mph.
I change another throttle body , does nothing. I see oil in my hose along with my intake looks filthy.
The car has a large turbo , 550 Bosch fuel injectors, tube an fin aftermarket inter cooler ,single fly wheel clutch an a boost gauge along with a cold air intake and tune.
I did zero of the build. The gentleman I purchased the car from is a turbo special is an has installed every up grade.
Unfortunately he's 2 hrs away an I'm broke ! I love this car an if I want to keep it , it is a necessity I learn to work on it myself.
Where do I start along with a full lists an steps to cancel an correct this problem from every possible angle ? I have no problem spending more time an $ on everything relating to this problem. I'd love to find the root but also want to be precautionary by fixing or replacing everything that causes this.
I've read lots of posts an find myself frustrated hearing people say they sold ! The car do to this problem. That it continued to be a problem.
I can listen an learn an am excited to get to business learning an working so I can have it back on the road. I know with all the people on this forum with experience , intelligence along with patience, I can be guided to quality work along with any up grades recommended after market parts.
I have also put 3! Bs high flow manifolds that have all cracked ! The latest one I bought on eBay for 80$ an was the exact one this guy charged me 200$ for an with install I was around 500$ i can only seem to trust the gentleman who built the car not to hold me over the coals. Unfortunately my lack of knowledge along with experience compared to his level of engine building ( not a mechanic) we cannot get anywhere over the phone. He's difficult for me to communicate with a Profesional who can't put it in lame terms for me.
Also if I want to have a vehicle like this it's time I learn to do the labor an lingo !
So any takers on advice trouble shooting ? I know there are some very educated individuals with my same car an have seen this a million times ! PLEASE HELP ME !
