    Help! Check engine light/sluggish performance...

Hello guys, I have a B8 4.2L S5 and I'm hoping someone can chime in and help me figure this out. I left the dealership yesterday after having them ONLY reset my service/inspection notification (I don't have a VAG cable). Anyway... today my check engine light came on. Took it to autozone and it read codes p2006/p2007. >:(

The car drives sluggish and it sounds a little quieter..

I checked all the vacuum lines, and they seem okay. I did a carbon cleanup (from the dealership!) About 10k miles ago. Oil change done last week.

The only thing I can see is the lower intake flap links are loose and I can move them freely with my hands. If I'm understanding this correctly aren't they supposed to be attached to a motor in the center? I found an exact picture of my intake and drew an arrow to were it's maybe broken off?

Can someone chime in and let me know if the links are supposed to be connected to something in the middle? If they are. Is this something that can be fixed or replaced. Im hoping this is the issue and not the stupid known solenoid under the intake issue, or worse having to replace this whole intake... Please help!

If the arms are hanging then they broke off. Mine did that last year, had a shop fix it and no issues after that.

Thanks Mike, I bought the replacement part. Hope to get it fixed soon. Do you know if the intake has to be removed for this fix? Or can you go the route of taking of radiator and fans?
