Valve cover/chain tensioner gasket kit...whats this tool??

I found my valve cover leaking oil on my coil packs. Going to change the cam tensioner seal when I do the valve cover gasket. I ordered this kit from ECS. https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B6_A4....8T/ES2695709/ What is the black/blue tool in the kit for? It is the tool pictured w/ the chain tensioner seal. Ive checked multiple DIYs but haven't seen anything about the tool. Possible cleaning surface area, or to help remove the seal? Any help is appreciated!

Gasket that hoes from the bottom side of the tensioner.
