Trying to track down a replacement part

    Hi guys,

Hopefully someone can help me out. I managed to crack my upper steering knuckle and am trying to figure out where to find a replacement part.

    I'm finding different part numbers.
For instance the one on my car is R8K0407257G. When I search Audi's site I find two other part numbers.
    8K0407253AA - KMS
    8K0407253AB -Cobapress
    8K0407253R

What does the KMS and Cobapress stand for?

Some info. My cars is a 2010 S4 with regular suspension, build date is 09/09.

Any help with what I need would be greatly appreciated.

Have a happy 4th of July everyone!!

There appears to be a lot confusion about the steering knuckle part number. Here's a thread about a 2010 B8 A4 in the UK with the same 8K0 407 257 G part number you have (less the leading "R" character). There's a lot of similar part numbers with the ones you listed too. Not sure how helpful this has been. Hopefully someone else here can offer more accurate info. Good luck!

Edit to add info on what COBAPRESS is ... apparently a casting method. More details here.
