2016 TT-S Front Brake pad shape

Does anyone have a pic of the OEM pad shape. I can't seem to find one. Need race compound made for front pads. Thanks much.

None exists at the moment outside of ebc which isn't a race pad, I've called everyone else.

They only show 2015 on the EBC website. Have we confirmed that those will actually work on our cars?

Go to their Europe site, which has it listed as well for 2025 which would then also be for our 2016s

I can get OEM and send them to Carbotech. I am looking for a ready made racing pad already on the market. Likely in UK as US will take a year to catch up.

Pagid was the oem supplier for the MK2 TTRS but they aren't for the the mk3 TTS and he said the new supplier they believe is using a product that is well below their OEM standards let alone race standards. I have a contact that you can send him pictures and dimensions he will do the dirty work of figuring out specs, production etc, I just haven't gotten around to it. DM'ing you now

I just cooked the OEM pads halfway though a track day, lost about 25% friction after a few sessions. I changed the fluid out to STR660, which at least kept up with the temps but pads have turned white-ish ashen color and the loss of friction is noticeable. I may be forced to buy another set of the crappy OEM pads, but will have a set to send to Carbotech, but really hate the idea of having to buy a set of pads you couldn't give me otherwise. They are that bad.

for peace of mind on fluid - use Castrol SRF React.

Update: No pads available from Pagid.

Hi, Sorry, we don’t have the TTS pads. We make the S3 and new GTi pads which are the same and I expected the TTS uses the same pad but after some research it turned out the TTS pads are smaller.

I ended up replacing my calipers with StopTech Trophy ST60 355mm. Now the hassle of no one knowing anything about this new caliper is non issue. I talked to carbotech about getting a compound on the stock pad backs. I have pictures of then if you are still in need, but posting a photo on this site is weak sauce. PM me and I can email you a photo. Ate, it the mfg of the caliper, but that didn't help carbotech.

After the second track day, I am tempted to put an AP Racing kit on my list of upgrades. I could definitely knock seconds off of my laps anywhere I go with a better setup.

After confirming with Mossback what he used, I'm pretty sure I know a kit that will work...

Well don't do it. Those pads DO NOT fit. Was ready to install and my girl was like.. 'uh these don't look like those". I just couldn't imagine it being wrong, but they sure were.

I'm having a hard time not getting an AP Racing or Brembo kit now =(.
