    Decisions, decisions... 18x8 ET35 vs 19x8.5 ET35

Have not been around here a whole lot but always value thoughts and comments from the "experts" around here.

I am in the middle of a slight facelift for my B8... New slotted & drilled rotors, Hawk brake pads, painted calipers, and now new wheels/tires... I am currently running 245/45/18s on my stock S-line 5-spoke rims... with 15mm/20mm spacers.... Newish tires (only 5K miles) so thought I could just upgrade the rims at reasonable cost...

So ordered these peelers in 18x8 ET35s... to use with my 245/45/18 tires....

    [IMG][/IMG]

Then found these 19x8.5 ET35 Alzors and gotta have them, so ordered these as well...

    [IMG][/IMG]

And for these Alzors, I ordered 235/35/19 93W performance tires. All due in next Friday (07/08)

So I am trying to figure out if I should stay with the peelers (18x8 245/45s) or move up to the Alzors (19x8.5 235/35s)... Also, not sure if 255s or 265s will fit onto the 8.5" rim widths

This is my car (circa 6 months ago)... sorry no recent pics, as I am waiting for all the new accessories going on before I start the photoshoot )...

The Edge Sport yours as well? My driveway looks very similar 2012 B8 and a 2012 Edge.

Wheels wise, I think 19s look better on the car so I'd have to say those without seeing both on the car. Ordering two sets of wheels is Ballin haha

    +1 for 19" /thread. 18s are way too small for B8s

8.5 is stock for 19s, and OEM uses 255 tires. I suggest going 19s and getting a 255 tire.

I own the 19.8.5ET35 and they're great. Definitely get the PSS if you can afford them.

I'd say 19" too. You will be happier in the long run with them. It just looks better

8.5 ET35 will sit way better than 8 ET35. Run those. You can use a 245 or 255 tire on them.

Yes, that is my 2012 Edge Sport AWD. Ordering 2 wheel sets is crazy, I know, and will ultimately return one set back once I decide the perfect setup for my ride. Thanks

Thanks everyone. The rims all arrive this week Friday so cannot wait. With my stock 18s I had to put in spacers to get the look I want, so if the 19s with ET35 will get me similar look, then that settles it... Appreciate all of the comments.... you guys are da best...
