I can't remove the scratches but I do know they're not very visible on. I pulled it before the car was scrapped from a neighbors yard. It does work aND comes with the pin.

The screen is the anti glare coating, it can be cleaned off but you will have a glare. Its almost like the soft touch crap on the buttons, GLWS.

Yeah it's the anti-glare stuff that is scratched. You can use Meguiar's Scratch-X (or something similar) and it will clean it all off. Might help with the appearance for the sale. Without the coating, it's really not even that noticeable... or you can get an anti-glare screen protector if you really want it back.

If I were you, I would clean up the screen and toss it on eBay, even taking into account fees you will get $300 for it. If I had any need for one I would have taken it at that price, crazy it has not sold.

If you think about it, you've flipped the garage lights on close to 300 X by now looking to see it hasn't grown legs and walked away. If it cost you $1.00 per flick of that switch (one direction for light on, 1 direction for light off =$2.00) I've pretty much already saved you $600 in electricity....... This might sound alarming but us Canadians really know how to save money and time. And as an added bonus if you ever need to build and igloo I can send you prints, tools and even offer written instruction.
