Need help diagnosing driver side oil blowout

So, I was out for a drive and took the car for a full throttle (Stage 2+) run. I recall smelling a bit of oil burn, but didn't think much of it because I have several small leaks. About 20 minutes later, my oil alarm/warning display came on and immediately went off. Like an asshole, I kept driving a little further although I was looking at property and so was moving very slowly down the street. I started to hear some clatter from the engine bay and immediately pulled over and shut the car off. There was a trail of oil behind the car and a check of the dipstick showed no oil left in the pan. I'm guessing the car was running for a good 2 or 3 minutes with no oil. I'm holding out hope that the clatter I heard was the lifters and I didn't do any real internal damage. My problem is I'm having trouble identifying the source of the blowout. It's driver side and it would make sense for it to be the valve cover gasket, but I'm wondering if something else caused the pressurization that blew it out. I took off the driver side valve cover and don't see any obvious damage to the gasket. There was oil spray on the back of the intake pipe that runs up the side of the motor into the Y-pipe and on top of the plastic cover around the power steering fluid bottle. What else should I check?

Something that could cause pressure to build in the system that would blow out seals would be the PCV system/spider hose assembly. If those check valves and pancake valve are not working properly, it can allow significant pressure to build in the valve covers causing things like cam plugs to blow out. Your issue sounds like the cam plug on the front drivers side blew out.
