B6 A4 Alarm Siren Not Working

    Hello everyone,

I've been pretty desperate to get my alarm siren working.
I purchased a 2003 Audi A4 from a used car dealer and the siren on it is not working.
I found the siren and saw what appeared to be burning/acid leak on the contacts which had completely eaten away the terminals on the siren. I ordered a used siren on ebay and a new connector (both were verified working by the sellers) and hooked them up. I then tried to set off the panic alarm and still, there is no sound coming from the siren, only flashing lights.

Is there something that needs to be done internally?

    Thanks!

I would use vagcom to check the alarm unit to see if it has any errors listed. Also not sure if you know this or not but the B6 alarm does not sound like a normal alarm, it just makes little electronic beeps
