I've been on the hunt for wheel spacers for a while-- kept missing the classifieds and really couldn't justify 2bills on new spacers.. Found this place on the good'ole ebay..

Set of 15's and 20's, with bolts under 120.00 shipped.. Cant beat that with a bat..

I wire wheeled my rotor faces, white lithium grease and they are 100% true and wobble free.. Very Satisfied.. and they looks pretty cool!

Did you happen to take a before and after picture? Or at the very least an after? Trying to decide which ones I need as well.

I used these spacers on my A4, they forged themselves to the wheel. Could not tell you enough to stay away.

Buy the good stuff, or don't buy at all.

Both ECS Tuning and H&R offer affordable options that I can trust.

Not to jump to conclusions but it sounds like you didn't properly prep the wheel and Hub/Rotor face? I wire wheeled them to almost a shine. Every spec of road debris, rust, dirt oil/grease was removed. Once i was at a "like new" surface, i applied anti-sieze grease to all mounting surfaces, mounted the spacers and torqued everything down appropriately. That's not to say that these puppies wont seize to the wheel or hub but i think the prep work that i completed will prevent that from happening. just my .02

But hey-- Only time will tell..

A pic with the 15/20 spacers? only took one - it was an after shot.. Its ridiculous how much more aggressive it looks after.. I think theres room for more but im not lowered yet and didnt want to take that chance..

I have ample experience with spacers. I was just about the first person on this platform to document 15/20 fitment. Trust me, I know all about it.

Do not use those spacers, take them off while you still can. I have ran H&R DR, H&R DRA, ECS Tuning hub centric and non hubcentric spacers on this platform. None of them ever gave me issue except for these.

It only took a few weeks before the soft aluminum was forged to the wheel itself.

It's worth a couple extra bucks to do this the right way. I really don't care what you do, but I would not trust having these on my car.

I've read your thread, and a good majority of the others. With respect to ECS and H&R, they absolutely do offer a quality product- no doubt... but plenty of people here have had issues running spacers with both of those brands. In your thread I didn't see any mention of these specific spacers, did you mount them, or did the dealer do it? Also, out of curiosity, how did you find out they were "forged" to the wheels? Did you have vibration issues or?? just trying to get a feel for what to look for.

Please realize that was 6 years ago. I have come along way since then and do all my own work on my cars.

I tried everything to pry them away from the wheel, but they were stuck there.

The b8 a4 is far too affordable now and I understand people wanting to cheaply modify them - hell, even I did it.

I ran the 20mm up front after getting the car lowered and having additional camber for more room for a more aggressive offset.

I literally sold the car with them on it because they were on there for good.
