New to the C7

Afternoon all,
Thought I'd introduce myself to the C7 subsection 👍
I've recently sold my beloved C6 and changed to the C7... It's a 2013 3.0 BiTDi Black Edition in Daytona Grey... Some nice bits added like the Matrix Led lights, heated seats, park assist, technology pack etc... Anyways here are some pics

Might be heading to Edinburgh in a few weeks for a few days of touring. Is that Stirling castle in the background of the last shot? We're supposed to head there and Loch Lomond and stop by the Glengoyne distillery on a day tour also.

I'm from Edinburgh... But moved to Stirling about 5 years ago! Yes that's Stirling Castle in the background. Good spot... Pay us a visit! 👍

I removed the rear badges bar the rings today! I do prefer a clean look... 👍
Also removed the number plates so I could remove all the sticky pad residue in preparation for my shorter number plates!
Cut and polished back 👌

So done a few jobs yesterday morning! Firstly removed the silver S-Line badges for gloss black ones...
Then changed the Alloy wheel centre caps to black ones as the old ones were tired looking.
I also replaced the rear Audi rings with gloss black items!
And finally fitted some Heko wind deflectors...

Had the wheels refurbished today! Used a mobile service so all done at the comfort of my own home... Went for a two tone paint job as apposed to diamond cutting due to durability! Very happy with the end results... And it looks like a factory finish! 👌

Cars at the body shop just now sorting out the front bumper.. When I purchased the car it had a 5p sized ding on the bottom edge and the dealer agreed to fix it!

However before it went I applied a red pin stripe along the rear valance. Not sure about it though! But I'll do the same on the front once it's back on a splitter also and see if it ties in well...

Our trip to Edinburgh, Stirling, Glasgow and Alnwick were a lot of fun.

They're just caps! I opted not to bother with the replacements as they can be a nightmare to fit! And it's easily reversible if need be...

Thanks, but he's looking for replacements. His mirror was silver/gray even though his car is black. I have no idea why it came that way, but he hated them, and it looked terrible, until he had them painted, and now they still look terrible.

I've seen complete replacements on eBay also... Just be careful if he has lane assist fitted

Forgot to mention I changed the reverse lights for some LED one's. Bright enough but not enough to blind You! 😂

Lol that would be because S model Audis come with silver mirror caps, for the most part.

Thats why I said for the most part. My S6 will come with painted mirror caps too because of black optics package. But I completely agree on white car, the contrast doesn't make sense there. I have a black S4 and I love the contrast of the silver mirror caps. Looks very aggressive.

Well, he smoked his lights, black badges and wheels, tint.
He didn't like the look with silver mirrors.

Another update... I purchased a K&N filter and fitted it yesterday! My old one was really dirty and had a manufacturing date of 2012!!! So can't say if it's been changed or not...
New one sounds better also imho
