My S8 was murdered by a 18 wheeler

5 minutes from the jobsite last wednesday I was t boned by an 18 wheeler that ran the stop sign at a 2 way stop. I have no idea how fast he was going, but he spun me right around and my car flew over the ditch landing nose first on the grass. The front seems a bit bent. The front fender gap on the passenger side is off now, rear passenger wheel broken and twisted axle. All the coolant pissed out of the rad, curtain and side bags went off. The truck driver was charged with failure to yeild. I walked away only being stiff

This god damn car never even had a stone chip and full service history right from new. This really pisses me off. I just got called from my insurance yesterday and the car has been totaled. Breaks my heart to see such a special car wrecked due to stupidity. Time to start looking for another Audi

Special car ... sorry to hear. Still, as other posters mentioned, an 18 wheeler failing to yield is the kind of thing that usually results in permanent injury. You walked away so think of your car's brave sacrifice as a testament to it's greatness.

Once the mourning period is over we'll all live vicariously through your shopping process (or are you just going to hop into another S8?).

I did do some shopping and finally going to get out of this boring as hell S550 4matic rental

I bought a 2013 Quartz grey S6 with a couple of thousand chopped off the price after some negotiations. Also bought more warranty to extend the CPO b2b to 2022 or 180,000km. It just came off lease with 55k km on the clock

The options included in this car are
Adaptive cruise with stop and go and brake guard, climate controlled massage seats, carbon interior, 20" wheels, 2 sets of tires(dealer put on brand new summers and brakes), 360 surround view camera, lane assist, smart full led lighting, active rear diff, and adaptive air suspension.

Whats missing that I would have liked? B&O, the Bose actually did sound very good. Rear entertainment and nightvision are also missing. None of these were deal breakers for me

I just hadn't noticed the option before, even on some of the other vehicles I was looking at before I bought the s4 (2017 a4, q5, sq5, q3, s3 etc). Is that only offered on certain models like 6/8?

Not sure what the order guide for the B9 A4 is for Canada but in the USA, the ventilated seats is now an option (warm weather package) for the Prestige. Heated steering wheel under the cold weather package for the Premium Plus/Prestige.

I have it now. I picked it up on Saturday and then my wife had our first baby on Monday. Our little man got to come home in the Audi. I have a stack of bedtime stories from 15 years of subscriptions to keep his mind occupied

I did a quick LC run with the S6. It's bone stock, but I would like a tune if it didn't TD1 me
