SQ5 rotors and brake pad life

The dealership was really pushing extended rotor and brake pad coverage. They suggested both are very expensive to replace and tend to be required around 20k miles. I wouldn't be surprised pads would be needed then, or even earlier, but I'm curious how owners here are faring on the rotor front.

My first SQ was totaled at 23K miles, including three track days. Both the pads and rotors were still good on it.

What pads and rotors are you running?

    Looks like 18/19z? Specs?

Nice! How were your original rotors looking prior to replacing?

Curious if there is any more feedback about whether or not others have had to replace pads, or even rotors before say 30K. Just did a 36 month lease on a SQ yesterday, and of course the finance guy was hard selling the Term Select. I recently purchased a Q5 for my wife, and passed on the coverage at $1,800. For the lease however, I was getting preferred pricing, and was quoted $540 for my 36/12K lease. Dealer said a brake job on the SQ is a given in that time period (possible even 2), likely around 20 - 25K, which seems like the partly line. I'm sure that is, at best, an exaggeration, but for the relatively low cost I did it, knowing I can cancel.
