Low tire pressure light on

Last year my TPMS would always go off and it stopped coming on a while back. The other day, I turned the car on to go to work and it started marking low tire pressure so I checked the tires but they're all fine. I checked the fuses to the side of the steering wheel and it seems fine so I can't figure out what is making the TPMS go off. Any clues?

A bad tpms sensor? Did you pull any codes? unfamiliar with it but there may be an implausible signal error if sensor is bad or an explanation.

Sometimes changes in weather can cause pressure differences. If you check the tires and the gauge reads correct, try resetting the level on the car menu. If that still doesn't work, you could have dead/dying batteries in the sensors. They are dated and only good for 6-7 years or so. Tirerack sells replacements but it's often cheaper/easier to turn off the TPMS with VagCom.

I didn't pull any codes. I did set my tires at 35psi which is what the car requires and also 40 psi which is the tire requirement and nothing changed. I might just get them turned off with vagcom.

Mine just started coming on after 9 years. I'm sure the batteries are dead. Now I'll have to decide whether to replace all five sensors or just disable them.

I did. Checked all tires and good. The light started coming on two weeks ago then blinks and beeps occasionally. Now it stays lit. Pretty sure it's the battery/sensors.
