...hey everybody, I've been on the hunt for a good/great RS4 for more than a year now. Yesterday I picked her up, today I arrived home with it.
It's an '08, Red, Stone-White Interior and it only has/had 34,160 miles on the clock. It was listed as having 2 owners, however I found out that the guy who owned it - unfortunately - passed away and willed it to his sister. To which there you have the second owner. Subsequently, she parked it for nearly 3 years...how about that. In those 3 years only 150 miles were put on the car.
Now that's the story, and I'm sticking to it... cuz I love the way it sounds.
When she decided to sell, there was a little work done that I have the service records for;
New Rotors front and back
New Pads front and back
New Auxiliary Radiator, because the old one cracked due to corrosion from setting so long
New Tires all the way around, not great ones but hey...still new
All fluids flushed and refilled
Oil and Filter Change
Air and Cabin Filters changed
New Battery
And a nice detail in and out
The car was just outside of Chicago. My companies HQ is in Chicago. I was there this week. After I was done, I picked up the car and drove it from Chi-Town to Northern Virginia. Quite the "break in" test drive. You all already know this, but - DAMN, the car is just awesome. I can't believe the deal I got. And this isn't a good RS4, it's a great one!
