anyone know th specs for these 2 hoses? I need the I.D.

I am prob just going to fab something up as mine are liking a bit worn. I KNOW when I remove them to check I.D. I will crack them so I am asking here before I remove.

the first one is 06b 103 493 AB and is shown here



the second is 058 133 785 B and is shown here. (yes I know it is cracked, this is a old pic and it has been replaced with a used unit from the wreckers)




Here are both in there home :)




Approximate overall length would be nice, but not required as I can do that with a string.

Hopefully someone here has these 2 hoses sitting in a parts box ;)

Very true. Just measure the metal pipe's circumference then divided by pi then U've the answer.

I will assume that you are assuming there is no "flare" on the end of the pipes and thus making the hose ID a bis smaller than the OD of the pipe. Or are you positive there is not?

I measured the tubes leading to from my 06B 103 493 AE hose and calculated: inlet 23mm / outlet 28mm

There may be a clamp retention ring formed into the tubing near the end of the tubing, but the nominal hose ID is the same as the tubing OD. The nominal tubing OD does not change at the ends of the tubing, it is the same OD over the entire length.

Use a digital caliper to measure the tubing OD, or measure the circumference then divide by Pi as suggested by "hightimes80". A caliper will be a lot more accurate.

The tubing that the "498A" elbow fits to is a different diameter than the tubing run length at the clamping length of the ends of the elbow, at least on the upper end.
