Hey man welcome! P1114 and P1118 are heater and open circuit codes for the downstream O2 sensor. Had one fail on my car just recently and replaced and now mine are gone. Sounds like the heater failed in yours and you need a new one.

P1423, god help you. I believe that is secondary air injection insufficient bank 1 (passenger side). basically carbon build up in your head in the EGR passage.

The p0741 fault is torque converter converter clutch stuck off and is caused by a faulty torque converter. I hope you got the car for a good price because unless you can do the work yourself a new TC is expensive. If you do want to replace it I would go with an upgraded one of you plan on keeping it automatic and doing any mods. Your best bet would be to manual swap it and call it a day but that is also pricey. Either way you will be putting some money into it to have a CEL free car. For your secondary air fault you better off flashing a tune that has the SAI coded out because the SAI system can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

X2 on the man swap, go 01E and never look back. I bought a tip tragic a while ago and ended up buying another manual stage 3 and it's just so much better to have the manual. You can prob find a transmission pretty easily as well I see them all over the place.

So how bad is it to fix, could I do it myself?

Sorry man I can't suggest any upgraded TC but I'm sure there would be someone on here that can suggest a good option.

I heard of the "streetsauce torque converter" for our tiptronics, dont remember who carries it, a quick search on the forum should find you an answer.

P1423 though, only thing you can try is removing the passenger side EGR and cleaning the passage inside the head with some wire or something. I have heard of people also removing exhaust manifold to do carbon clean but I havent done that personally so cannot comment on it. If none of that helps, you can tune it out. I tried the wire method and no bueno. I have p1423 for 5 years now on my daily b5, she runs fine and ive been spending money on other parts and my c5 so never came around to getting a tune.
