Retro fit front parking sensors on allroad?

Here's a hair brained question: anyone hear of retro fitting front parking sensors on a B8.5 allroad? I've seem to recall seeing threads A4s somewhere but nothing on the allroad.

I was looking at replacing the center cover of my bumper and see that there is the option of with or with out parking sensors. Being that I have a serious modding problem, naturally I now want front parking sensors on my allroad. I had 360 degree parking a BMW once upon a time and do miss it now.

I imagine there would be hardware to get and coding to get it all to work. Probably cost prohibitive....

I am not sure if the module will work with a B8.5 but you can check Kufatec and see if it will work. I would like to think the CANBUS would be relatively similar from B8 to B8.5 but I could be dead wrong.

The dealer has to calibrate them even if you did add them, VCDS cannot do that.

Is that just for the B8.5? I didn't need the dealer to code anything for the B8

I've made it through page 1 and starting on page 2. Still not clear to me yet if:

-this is possible for a US spec B8.5 allroad pre-installed with rear PDC and camera
-if possible, what parts I'll need (with part #s)
-the necessary coding

I'll keep reading....
