Yep, a new to me 2013 Brilliant Black S4. I usually don't like to purchase cars with previous mods, but they gave me a great deal and it had low miles for a 2013. Has a Stop Tech Brake upgrade; I have no idea which one. A Stasis exhaust which I think is a Cat back, but I'm not sure. Laying and looking underneath there appears to be a resonator, but can't see how far exhaust goes. I'll put it on my buddies lift later. Also it is lowered, but I have no idea how (Software or Hardware). I'm happy with it though, it has decent power and handles great. I love the Sport diff and how it helps rotate the car. It is a blast to drive. I picked it up at Chantilly, Va Audi. I wonder if someone on here was the previous owner? Anyways, glad to be a member and this is my 1st Audi.

Couple of pics from the ad and a few I took just after purchase with crappy iPhone camera.

I have your car's twin, a '13 phantom black pearl which I too picked up from NoVA. If you ever need service, Brian in Audi Chantilly is great to work with.

Congrats on the purchase! Don't be a stranger!

Thanks everyone. I still have about a year on factory warranty, but I do all my own work besides. My 1st Audi owned, but Ive work on my fair share of VWs mostly 2.0T, 1.8T, Passats, Gtis, couple A4s. Never on a 3.0T though and have a lot to learn on this platform. Looking FWD to it. I've been lurking and posting for past two months while I made my buying decision. I test drove an S6 that was also on the lot, though it had more luxury and and def more straight line umph, I didn't think it was 15k better. Besides that it pushes a lot in the corners and I wanted something more tossable. I've owned a few Lexus LS400s, 430s and wasn't trying to get back into the larger sedan thing right now, so S4 it is! Besides, if you hurt a 4.0TFSI motor, it is way more costly than a 3.0T which motors are readily available and fairly cheap (not that I plan on blowing things up, but who does? Lol)

I'm developing a mod plan cause I love to drag race at the track. Been doing it for years; 1st with a Honda Civic, then my 700hp AWD Eagle Talon TSI, and 2008 Kawasaki ZX14. Hope to pull some 11s out of this S4 with traps in the upper teens. My goal isn't out right power that may affect reliability (been there done that!) but great everyday usable power. Also have an E85 gas station around the corner from me which is the fuel I ran in my Talon. Trying to decide GIAC path or APR. Still learning the options.

Hope you're enjoying the new ride! Chantilly is my dealer as well and I had a good experience with both of my purchases there- As for Service Dep't I've only been there for warranty work (just 1 time) but they were prompt and friendly. What track do you plan to hit in MD when you go? Would be good to get some guys together for a track day some time- especially if running different set ups to compare. Cheers!

Which intake is best? Read the rock euro is good and loud but delivery time is suspect. Also not sure if I want that much whine. I do want to hear it though.

My local track is Capitol Raceway, and MIR is about an hour drive or 40 minutes on my bike . MIR is one of the best on the east coast with very favorable DA especially in late Sept, October, and late March and April.

What flash do most recommend? May try a piggy back until factory warranty goes out.

I saw that car when it was traded in and mine was getting serviced. Nice looking car, was tempted to take it for a drive but didn't want to waste the sales Guy's time. Pretty crazy they traded it in with all those mods.

if it's the CPO car they have that's an S8 and unless the car you got is stage II it should have felt way stronger in a straight line than an S4 with just noise related mods (i.e. exhaust and intake). Your car may be tuned which would be worth researching to find out if and whose tune it is.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a tune. My "assometer" can usually tell a 12second car. This car feels low to mid 13s at best. Only one way to find out for sure, I'm going to hit Capitol and get some baseline runs. How much cool down time is recommended for best performance? Is there a pump that runs coolant through the charger? I realize I know nothing of how this car is set up. How is intake charge cooled? Is there an intercooler somewhere? On some year SC Mustangs you can run the coolant pump and fans to cool the charger and lower intake. I've been so busy I haven't even had a chance to really look under hood besides some basic checks before purchase.

There are two water to air IC which I guess only get fed coolant when the water pump is running. Well, more research!
