What setup are you switching to? I am looking at doing a meth kit install as well. Thanks.

Well since I finally installed my JHM FMIC kit, I had to eliminate this pipe from my car which essentially got rid of my meth injection since that's where my nozzle was plumbed into.

So I went ahead and bought an IE throttle body plate to use as my new meth location and will probably pick up a dual nozzle kit (plus accessories) and hold it until I have the time to take the JHM post FMIC pipe out of the car to get an 1/8 NPT bung welded in. This pipe already has threaded bungs which makes install a snap if you are installing a "meth kit" and using your WW reservoir like I did.

Free bump if you don't mind me asking why you're choosing to run dual nozzles? I have a kit that I'm waiting on a few part purchases that I need/want to install. Its the Snow Performance Stage 3 kit, I have the throttle body plate and was just going to run that one nozzle but I'd like to hear why you're going with more nozzles to see the benefit and perhaps go that route myself. I already have a front mount on so I could tap that as well. Thanks!

More added benefits to lowering the IATs with the nozzle pre TB. With the nozzle post TB, the added gains are more from an increase in octane rating into the combustion chamber. Thus.... do both! :D

    Tech:

As quoted by USRallyTeam.com "There's only but so much humidity that a unit volume of air at a given starting temperature can possibly absorb in a given period of time. A single very large nozzle will oversaturated the intake air with humidity. Then it will "precipitate". In plain English, that means that it will literally rain inside the intake piping as the fluid falls out of suspension and coats the walls. When this occurs there is no cooling, no octane boost, and the owner may run the risk of damaging engine internals.

Mounting a nozzle just after the intercooler provides maximum distance travelled from the spray point to the combustion chamber. This ensures that the mist is carried by the air for a longer time period. More time allows for more complete evaporation. More evaporation guarantees more cooling.

A throttle body-mounted nozzle works exactly the same way but in reverse. Less distance travelled = less evaporation = more droplets ready to turn to steam INSIDE the combustion chambers. This reduction in combustion temperature boosts the air/fuel charge's octane rating in a huge and very beneficial way. Of course, one may run a single medium-sized nozzle midway between the two ends. This delivers a compromised mix of both cooling and octane vs. maximum amounts of both. Special care must be taken to ensure that liquid droplets do not reach a drive by wire throttle body. (This is a non-issue for drive by cable throttles.)

SO, should you run one or two nozzles? You should run two IF your budget allows. If not, you will still be delighted with the performance of a single nozzle. Size that nozzle responsibly to achieve excellent results."

Then add another pump to spray water only on the FMIC itself and watch IATs drop incredibly because of the evaporative coolingof water on an IC.
