    Auxiliary radiator fan not coming on at all!

    It doesn't kick in at all. I am hoping it is just a fuse or a switch blown but I don't know where these are located or which ones they are. Please help! Regan Smith. :] :] It is an Audi A4 B5 1997 V6 2.8l 30v Quattro. Thank you very much!!

    Track the wire from the fan, the connector should be around driver headlight, give the fan 12v directly and see if the motor spins. If it does, check fuses, relays and report back in. relays are located under driver side dash, under your legs. fuses are on drivers side upper dashboard when you open door. also another relay under ecu tray but i forgot which that is

    There's also a jumbo 40 amp fuse for the electric fan plugged into that relay block under the driver's side dashboard.
    I had to replace that fuse on my '98 Quattro 30v when the fan motor bearings seized up and it also blew the fuse.
