Acceleration/Performance loss after NAV system install, battery disconnect.

Anyone out there ever had issues with acceleration performance loss after a NAV system install and/or battery disconnect? I have no error lights on the dash. My car, 2007 A4 B7 Quattro, has Stage 1 APR tuning. It just feels sluggish all of the sudden. Before it accelerated very impressively, almost like it was in sport mode. I have owned this car for less than a year, so am still learning the ins-and-outs of her.

I'm pretty certain you lose the tune when disconnecting the battery with APR.

Well that's wonderful. So what must I do to get her back to how she was? I wasn't the one that had the APR flash done, so I have no clue what it involves, who can do it, etc.

I don't know the answer to this. I'm running JHM and it stays after a disconnect. I just have to reset it with the cruise stalk.

I'd assume an APR dealer could restore your tune.

I have APR, and have disconnected my battery many times without losing the tune. I suppose it could have switched programs for some reason if you have multiple programs flashed?

Yeah this is false, I have done it multiple times with no issue. Do you have the multiple program switching? If not, we will have to delve further into this.

Do a throttle adaptation and see if matters improve.

You don't lose the tune. If you have multiple programs, it just reverts back to the 1st one (which is typically stock) when you disco the battery. Just use the APR instructions to set it back to the tune that you were running (and matches your gas).

OP, you have not supplied any useful information to help answer or triage your issue. Your findings are subjective and therefore the problem is only subjective until proven otherwise.

    I suggest:
Obtaining some simple logging data comparing boost specified to actual. Stock programming is 10-12 PSI, APR stage 1 is 19-20 PSI. If there is a discrepancy, then you may have developed a boost leak.
Unplugging the battery will not switch or erase a tune. The tuning program does not run on top of the OEM tune, it replaces it. Additionally, unplugging the battery may or may not erase some of the adaptive functions of the ECU, but most people find this actually improves performance as daily driving tends to adapt to fuel saving and not performance.
I also suggest erasing all code (even if none) as this will reset adaptive functions as well.
