    Washer Fluid Reservoir Leak

There is a leak somewhere in the reservoir or the connection between the fill tube and the reservoir. It's bad enough that it keeps the fluid level low enough that the low fluid light illuminates on the DIS and it's annoying me. I seldom use my washer fluid and wouldn't really care but for the warning light.

How do I access the reservoir? Is it located behind the wheel well on the driver side? Do I remove the liner to get to it or can it be accessed from the engine bay?

Is there a way to permanently disable the warning via VAG-com?

I have replaced the level sensor, and yes, if you remove the inner liner, you have good access of the reservoir. You should be able to check the connection at the bottom, the sensor and pump.

I discovered last night that the DIS warning can be disabled using VAGcom. In Cent electric 09 and using the long coding helper there is a washer fluid sensor installed bite that can be disabled. Doesn't fix my leaking tank but does get rid of the annoying warning!
