    Custom Orders Question

Has anyone here in the US been able to add anything to a custom build that isn't offered on the USA website? I am browsing the UK website and found these bad boys! I know we can't have anything that doesn't comply with US regulations like Matrix LEDs . But I can't see why the steering wheel and seats can't be added. It's small things like that that makes me wonder if they will be options for the 2018 Audi A4, I would wait if I knew these options where coming next year or even later on this year. Too expensive to add on an already built car.

Also how does the custom order process work? Do you agree on a price before they order it, do they run a credit check before and upon delivery? How about a down payment? My trade in is my down payment.

Normally price is agreed upon and written up at the time of the order. Credit / Financing is handled just before vehicle arrives at Dealership. Your credit information will be held until then. Options from other countries are unavailable in the US order system. As to whether or not they will be available in 2018 is impossible to predict.

SIDE NOTE: While ordering your car is always nice, it is now the LAST TWO DAYS of the month and our sales quarter. If you find the right vehicle in stock you can get a heck of a deal !!!

the steering wheel & seats are the standard options in s-line interior package in most european countries. The stering wheel is just like normal multifunctional 3-spoke wheel, except comes with perforated leather.

Seats are normal sport seats, except come with s-line logo and part leather/fabric trim. Optionally can get part leather/perforated alcantara or full leather.

So it's basically normal stuff, except little s-line badging & cosmetics.

My new tdi order in Finland will have both of these as part of s-line interior kit.

I know it's all purely cosmetic but it's these small added changes that is icing on the cake so to speak.

^Agreed. That's why I chose both interior and exterior s-line packages to my new 2.0 TDI quattro stronic avant custom order :-)

For the life of me I don't know why they don't put those seats and steering wheel with s logo in the sports package for US buyers. Maybe they are saving that for next year?!?
