Looks amazing. I'm seriously considering this mod. Was this done by cutting apart an RS6 grill and fitting it into the housing of the B7 grill?

Ideally you don't want to use a dremel or superglue, so it can be.

If you want it too look like it wasn't made haphazardly you really wanna cut it with coping saws and razor like blades and finish it with better glues, like contact cement and blend it with something more suitable like apoxie sculpt which can be blended and sanded for a more OEM look.

No clue why someone would want to throw a poorly modded grille onto their otherwise nice car (used to call that rice) but to each their own...

Picked it up from LLTECK..
I was going to do it myself... but didn't want to screw it up and be without a car for the few days that it would take to do the mod myself...
and the time required...
for me it was worth the few hundred extra to have it done right!

Good idea just going with the manufactured grille. I've seen really botched jobs!! Plus you can keep your RS grille intact. I'm doing a few mods now, but might do this before the year's over.

Holy shit, yes. I've only seen Nicks Car Blog and the other dude with the bagged gold rim RS4 that had this, and I believe they both did the razor/dremel/saw what ever method to cut it out and super glue/epoxy cement adhesive professional grade sticky shit.

Maybe I'm just being picky but the rings seem to be protruding quite a bit and the bottom of the grille looks to be sticking out a little. How's the fitment?

The grill comes with a piece that you can mount anywhere n the grill (I did mine a bit higher as the new ones rings are higher).. and I used my rings from the original grill as LLTEK wanted $80 for rings!

Its Milltek exhaust... tips came with it!

Fitment is real good...
you are right about the rings though...
the piece protrudes fairbit more than stock rings, but I believe its inline with the newer grills...
but the fitment of the mount is iffy... should have glued it on the back side as well!

Oh, didn't know Milltek tips were larger than OEM. I'm running Milltek as well. I'll have to do a side-by-side comparison some day.
