They are a 1600.00 option at time of order. Purchased after the fact, the price is about 1800.00 for mirror caps and rear spoiler.

    That seems a bit expensive.

This package is in a FWD car. I would think this would be more attractive to enthusiasts that loves the Quattro and custom cars..... mhhh

You really need to be a Carbon Fiber enthusiast for paying that price.

So I have heard the FWD DSG car is a lot of fun to drive. It's not the almighty Quattro but still it hits a price point. In Texas, the FWD will sell and people will be happy it isn't the junk CVT.

Agree! I like carbon fibre elements in small quantities whether in the interior or exterior. I never liked having carbon fiber elements in the exterior. In my opinion, it makes the car too 'riced-up'. You know, like something is trying so hard to look special. I personally go for something between elegant and sporty. Besides, too much carbon fibre thingies in the exterior are bound to attract unwanted attention from unwanted folk.

I think you are correct Aadel, FWDs are much better now, The VW GTIs are nice fun cars to drive with 6Speed DSG, all FWD.....

Yes plat, all depends how you customize the car. I'm with you that it should be something between elegant and sporty. I'm planning to add CF mirror covers to my 5 with a CF insert in the front at the fog grill trim to match the mirrors, juts enough to accent the spottiness of the car without affecting its elegance or design and attract unwanted attention as you mentioned.... we will see... if doesn't work I'll just re-sell those parts....
