Has anyone noticed that there is a hole in the airbox on the side that attaches to the inner fender? Looks like it might bring in air from inside the fender? just trying to find where that actually feeds from the outside at.

I know on the B5 it's just a tube that stops about 2/3 of the way up the fender. Just pulls air through the wheel well.

Thanks, I will take my shrouding off to look, Making a custom intake box with a NACA intake feeding air in from the side of the bumper and using the feed from the front snorkel, essentially cutting off any hot air from the engine and Aux cooling radiator.

Going to start taking measurements this weekend, I am replacing radiator, adding intake spacers, check valve kit, PCV, temp sensor, replacing all the o-rings and pintles and clips on the fuel injectors, doing squishys flapper valve fix, painting the fuel rails, and general clean up. oh and I have this heat wrap that is going under the IM after the spacers are on, busy busy busy.
