This can cause ALLLLLL sorts of issues. Why would you install a BoV? Not sure if you realize this is a MAF fuel based engine, not a speed density (MAP) based fuel map. Allowing metered air to release without the computer knowing will cause all sorts of issue in regards to fueling. You need to use the DV.

    Even if it's recirculating?

Not sure what you mean. You have the DV blocked off an a Blow Off Valve installed within the charge pipe correct? The Blow Off Valve goes to atmosphere, correct?

That BOV doesn't recirculate. The small line is the vacuum line that activates the valve and it depressurizes the charge pipe to atmosphere. Luckily loosing air and the ECU still feeding fuel will send you rich vs lean so not that bad. The stock DV due to its location on the turbo and that the ECU has far faster and better control that being vacuum based is likely causing the P2261 as the ECU likely sees a pressure spike as the intake isn't depressurizing as fast as it expects. With electronic throttle the ecu can see the sensor move and have the DV in motion depressurizing the turbo before the throttle can close and build the vacuum and operate a BOV.
As for a MAF reading at idle 2.66g/s that stays steady and about 5.7g/s at 2000 RPM (no load high idle). Are your MAF readings steady and what values?

Yeah man, get rid of that. That's a BoV at the end of the charge circuit. This WILL cause you tons of problems. Why re-invent the wheel on this? You SHOULD be using the N75 valve and DV valve through the ECU. Not work against it.

Because I've been thru 2 oem dv's and 1 GFB dv (which was worse than oem) as soon as I switch to tuning APR stage 1 I can hear the dv little by little do more flutter till it just ends up wearing down spring and staying open. So me not knowing I decided to try HKS SSQV and I love the sound and didn't notice any difference in performance but did get less mpg

Were any of those OEM DV's the latest upgraded one? Have you tried a Pierburg?

Forge, non-BoV would be your best stock upgrade if you wanted to go aftermarket. However, I'd recommend to stay with Pierburg.

Sounds like something abnormal is killing your DVs. I'd try to find the source of that first, or cut your losses and take a chance on the Forge, like Allowencer mentioned.

Many folks run OEM DVs and are higher than APR Stage 1. Agree that something else is killing your DVs, and you should look into solving that issue. Get rid of the BOV.

Personally, I'm not a fan of Forge DVs because it gave me all sorts of issues on my car, but in this case, whatever works, since the current setup is obviously not.

Sorry, I misinterpreted your earlier statement to read you were Stage 1. But yes, on a K04--that's what I run on my B7. I've boosted up to about 24 psi before, and haven't had any issues with the DV (Rev D on the piston version). Are you using the latest OEM piston style or diaphragm style? As soon as I went K04, I tore the diaphragm like it was nothing.

Yes, but you said you kept blowing out the stock ones. I thought that meant before this setup. If you can revert, please do, and see if that fixes your issues.
