Turbo situation continues...

Halo,

So I installed my GodSpeed k04, running on a k03 tune, 3inch HFC, 91 oct.

The weird thing that's going on is that the turbo seems to be "slipping" like a clutch would.

It spools up at low rpms really fast! than nothin'.

intermittently.

Also, sometimes it boosts just like it should, steady to 18psi and back.

Other times, it stutters to 11, then drops to 8, goes to 18, CLunk no boost. back to 5psi holding steady.

It's just so strange. It's like the car and the turbo just don't get each-other.

Ideas?

You're hitting limp mode. Definitely pick up a K04 tune or at least a Stage 2+

MBC to turn down the boost a good cost effective short term solution?

you are 99 aeb right?

if you have a bad n75, you have 2 options.
get new n75
delete n75 and run B&S MBC

i deleted the n75 and ran B&S MBC on my aeb. boost will come on harder, but you get used to driving it and your foot becomes lighter on the pedal, OR NOT 👦

$20 for MBC. cheap

I bet the voodoo one is good, however I wanted one Gold in color, and plus I could order on Amazon and they donate $ towards charities with each purchase... towards H20 in this case. Being in Cali we could use it!
