Adaptive Xenon flicker once at around 72 mph, normal?

Hey guys,

I recently just purchased a 2013 S-Line Prestige...quick question, I know that I have adaptive headlights but I noticed that when I get onto the highway and reach around 72mph my headlights have a quick flicker and it seems as though their range gets extended or they get brighter and when my speed reduces to about 54mph they flicker again and have the opposite effect. Just wondering if anyone knew why this might be happening and wanted to ensure this is normal.

Yes perfectly correct. Called motorway or highway mode.

x2. I think there's even one more level where they adapt further above 140 kmh (about 87 mph). Haven't had a chance to personally observe the effect at this speed though.
