Will 4X Avant doors fit inside a Avant??

I am wondering as I found a set of doors (4) from a Avant part out and.

has anyone ever fit a full set of Avant doors inside a Avant?

Supposedly the only difference between sedan doors and avant doors is the window frames, so you could just take the frames since that is the unique part

You should be able to fit all 4 doors INSIDE the avant as long as you can fold the rear seats down. Take some blankets or padding so you can stack them without damaging them.

A plasma cutter would be best. Since it uses heat and doesnt cut away the metal. The heat will also help them reconnect when you take them out and put them back together. A sawzall cut would reduce the overall dimensions.

the window frames are different, I have both and they are not the same, the wagon has a much flatter top, the sedan has a curve to it

I'm pretty sure the front doors are the same and interchangeable, but the roof line changes on the rear doors so that's where the frames are specific to sedans/avants. But I believe the question is if four doors would fit IN an avant as in trasporting spare parts. And I'd say no, not a chance.

The official parts list shows that the Avant uses the same window frames as the sedan. I think all four doors will fit inside after removing the window frames and wrapping the doors in movers blankets. Maybe without removing the window frames also. You could try that first.
