Just wanted to start my own thread to receive input and suggestions of my new project I picked up about a month ago. I will be posting random pics and the modifications I will be doing and/or thinking of doing. I'm a hands on guy so like doing it all myself if possible. Im a Jeep guy so this is all new to me but LOVIN' this vehicle so far.

Did my mirrors today wrapped in carbon fiber

The mirrors look good, I think blacking out the rear section of the roof would be a worth while exterior mod. I haven't done much exterior wise for my car other than window tint. Suspension and wheels made the biggest visual difference. Still waiting for some one to make a front lip/splitter that looks good on the non-S-line bumper.

Man you ride looks sweet brotha! Yeah I wanna wrap the rear section myself when I get the chance...... and yes sir those wheels make a major difference! What kind of suspension did you throw on that? Springs? Coils?

I've been on a search to find a front lip as well.

However, i did this this lip from a Japanese company called KRC Modified. It's pretty pricey and at that price point, i'd rather get the S-Line bumper

Looks good, do you have anymore pictures to get a look at the wheels and the grill more? Also where did you get that grill? I like it a lot more than the one with a little bar at the bottom of it.
One more question, what do you guys recommend for lowering the car?

Yes sir Ill take some tomorrow and post them up. Yeah me too thats why I went this route. Ill send you a link for it....... and for lowering the car I just ended up buying the HR sport springs so we will see how that goes.

Yes sir they are. I used the Gun Metal Plastidip. Was so simple and clean.

Oh I completely love it! Been using for a while now and the key to a good finished product is prep. Other than that if you dont like how the color looks all you have to do is peel off. Simple as that.

You've done a great job on this car. The only mod I wouldn't have done would be the lug nuts. Other than that, it's the nicest A3 I've seen. Good luck!

Did you just directly spray pain the calipers without even taking them off the rotor? Is it that easy? Was looking into new calipers since I wanted color but I didn't even think of just painting them :)
