    AUDI A6 C7 Folding mirror on driver side not working

    Hi, I have A6 C7 model 2012 and I need help with folding mirror on driver side. It wont fold. When use knob passenger mirror works fine and when I lock car passenger side folding ok driver not.
    Glas movement on driver side working.
    Is possibile that something not ok with coding or folding motor.
    Is possibile to take apart this part with spring..

    I ran into the same issue but with my passenger side mirror. Doesn't look like anyone else has run into this issue with a6 c7 unless they just pay someone to repair it. I plan to remove the motor connector and use a volt meter to see if there's any signal sent to motor. I believe it's a dead motor. Does your make any sound?

    Hmm
    The strange thing, two days is not working, and in morning when i start the car to go in service start working. In repair found error on mirror and canceled. again after 5-7 hours stopped working... I will wait for more days to see what next..
    I hear only the sound of the of glass mirror motor not motor of folding.

    leonbtwo if you take apart folding motor please provide some picture
    Its possibile that after car washing this happened. When is to strong presure and water goes inside???

    My car has auto folding mirrors anytime i lock the door. Water might of gotten in during the winter months.

    I think that is something with wires and connections not folding motor. I will again go to see errors on VAG.

    Got the same problem with my driver side mirror. I disabled the folding feature, i am guessing is the motor.

    Dealer replaced the whole motor assembly since my car still has cpo.
