Is the 034 flywheel made for the 12V or the 24V VR6? And what engine do you have?

cranks are the same. it does not matter.

you need the bolts to be turned down, otherwise they will hit eachother.

you've not received the right bolts.

They all need to be turned down. I dont see how having two of them would work. The 12v and 24v flywheel have the same bolt pattern and the same part/number

Wow this is a bit unfair now I have to pay for a guy to do this I cant just use my grinder. Hmmmm my intake manifole looks like crap aswell well for what you pay fo it rough as.

And what do you think about the flywheel the bolt holes need to be drilled out bigger to allow for the few mm differents were its been drilled for the crank?

put the bolts in a drill and spin them down. measure each one with vernier calipers to make sure they are all equal.

what flywheel bolt holes are you referring to? the flywheel is meant to be 'snug' on the crankshaft. you do up the bolts in a star sequence, and it slowly pulls the flywheel onto the crank. its meant to be 'tight'.

Yse so were the crank holes have been drilled in the flywheel when I try to get the threds in to bolt up to crank I cant get them all in, if I turned down the bolt heads I dont think it will then line up. Its like thrre jus a mm or 2 out from all lining up.

Pictures say a 1000 words lol

you know the bolts ONLY bolt up in one specific way. you need to spin the flywheel till ALL the holes line up, one hole is offset closer to the centre of the crank than all the others.

yes.. all the 034 vr6 longitudinal flywheels are aluminium.

Lol yes v true, its not the 1 like in your picture. Cant replace the ring in the fly.
I did read about the 2 different bolts had to be opposite and the crank hole being off on one of them thank you for reminding me though, arr I hope its ok it seemed like the flywheel wouldn't go on onto the crank not as easily as the wrx or skyline ones do

yes, i understand that the one i posted is not the tilton. the distance between each bolt is the same for both flywheels. it is dictated by the crank (obviously).

Bolts need to be rounded on a lathe. I had a local machine shop do it for me for 15 bucks. Here's a picture of them side by side, and a picture of them unrounded showing how they overlap. So just have them machined. Picture above is on my Tilton flywheel

Got the flywheel and the bolts into the shop today. Im also getting the cv joint center machined down as i cant get the c clip on it dam so close. I will need to soon start looking at how to plumb the watersystem up. Do you think It would be a good idea to get a new radiator of just use the a4 one? Has anyone got a already plumbed up system thay can send? My turbo is not watercooled
