How not safe is it too drive on tires like this? I am going to change out ASAP but was unaware of how bad they were on the insides. It seems to just be the front left tire that is like this so I will be needing an alignment also. Just wondering if it will be safe to drive on for a few weeks while I wait to be shipped tires? If not I could replace them with whatever the tireshop has in stock for a temp fix.

Tire rack should be able to get you tires within a day or two.

Thats what I was thinking. Would driving on the spare be fine with the tread difference?

Yes, that's fine. Just remember it shouldn't be taken over 55mph or driven for more than 75 miles or so.

You can drive on it but not far or fast. If you have a spare that's a better bet and tire rack should get you rubber within a day or two.

Yea that's about to blow. It's from positive toe. Mine blew out at about 105 mph on the I10 in down town Phoenix. That was an exciting morning.

How does your tire get that bad without you noticing?!
...and why would it take a few weeks to ship tires? You can get new tires to your door in a matter of a couple days.

all it takes is the perfect amount of toe with negative camber and the tires chew up really quick.

Is your car always on a lift? With 9.5" wide back tired it's not the easiest thing to notice.

Mine weren't even that bad and I replaced them. I suggest not driving on them as others have said. Tire rack had Pilot Super Sports to my door within 2 days...

I ended up putting the spare on last night since I do not want to take chances since it looks pretty bad. I have always checked the tread but wasnt aware that it was camber wearing that much, my friend actually noticed it when I was parked at full lock. Other than full lock it is impossible to check on that part of the tire wear. I will have to wait till tomorrow to call a local tire shop when they open to see if I could ship the tires there......

Any new tire suggustions? Mine were Nexen SU1s and were decent with traction and lasted awhile. Was looking at PSS but if something has similar performance and wear but for cheaper I would look into it.

You can go with Hankook V12 tires. A good road tire that is often compared to the PSS's at half the cost.

If you have $800.00 sitting in your account doing nothing, a set of Michelins is a breeze!

$800? All I have seen are $1000 for four. I will probably end up going with PSS but just exploring my options.
