Has anyone ever heard of white ambers on a b8 oem hid headlight

I work for a headlight restoration company and my manager was talking to me about my black ambers and said the owner purchased a bunch of oem headlights with a white amber from Germany and it should be here the next month or so. I've never heard of a oem white Amber

The OEM euro headlights have a clear side marker.

Yep, the Euro headlights do not have Amber lense like USDM.

I think I quoted one of your posts and suggested that you do an ecode (European spec HID conversion, which has a wider projector beam, sharper cutoff, and the clear side marker you're referencing). Very easy job to do on the B8 and 100% worthwhile. I did the conversion on my previous car and my only regret was not doing it right after I bought it.

Not to get off topic, but where did you get the yellow film for the foglights.

firstly a bit off topic, what did the rear brakes look like since you painted the fronts?

Also, with regards to headlights for the A4 facelift model, there was only ONE version of the LED lights right? sometimes it looks slightly different, im guessing depending on the angle.

@bermudakid had some extra and gave it to me in exchange for some VAGCOM coding, but I believe it was 3M from Amazon. Heat gun is definitely needed to do the fogs, they're a compound curve so it takes a minute (and ideally a second person) to get it to sit flat).

I painted front and rear brakes. They all looked surprisingly good for being stock.

    Edit: pictures here.

You're correct about the headlights, Prem+ and Prestige US-spec cars have the same headlights (along with Premium trim cars, if they have the lighting package). Same overseas, although they have a different version as mentioned before.
