    BW K04 oil feed stripped

I have hybrid BW K04s with the rs6 compressor and K04 hotside. Just had new journals and seals installed in them and was in the process of tightening the last oil feed line on the passenger side turbo... i finger spun it in about half way, then used the ratchet but it just ate the threads with hardly any tightening. Quick peak inside and it was all carnage.

Visually it appears to be stripped about 2/3 or 3/4 of the way in - might have happened when i took them out, I don't know.

That's the bad news, so I'm wondering if anyone has any good news with a way to fix it.

It's the smallest banjo oil feed facing the front of the car on the passenger side. The only idea i have to fix the current problem is to drill it out and tap for a larger banjo size and then cut the banjo line and connect a larger banjo to match it.

I'm not really fond of the idea of buying new turbos and getting a new tune... this engine pull was to do the 01e synchros and collar and refresh the turbos as they are becoming long in the tooth and i have been running 26 and 28psi files. I took a week off work to get this completed and in the second hour mayhem strikes... Any thoughts from the community are welcome.

...that's the only idea I have. Perhaps someone else has experience?

I dont want to waste my time doing this and then having it backfire.
