    Remove crank pulley?

Anyone got a good trick specific to this car to the B8 A4 2.0 TFSI on how to hold the crank pulley while I remove the bolt? FYI I can't do the starter trick because I don't want to crank the engine. Oh, and I forgot to order the blast tool this past Monday.

I was able to use a strap wrench on the pulley and an electric impact driver. Putting the belt back on and stuffing a rag between the belt and pulley may work.

I dunno if my strap wrench is big, or tough, enough to hold the pulley while I hit the main bolt with the air impact or 1/2" drive + cheater bar. I'm going to try but this may have to wait until I can get the right tools.

We did it by putting a piece of flat rubber bungie in the pulley then using a 1/2 strap wrench (with cheater) to hold the pulley in place. Then 1/2" drive ratchet with cheater to spin the bolt.
