    Is out check valve a sealed piece or a snap together? Seems mine has come apart or unsnaps

    Do you mean the Crank case vent? If so yea they come apart, should snap back in

    It's sealed. I just replaced mine, which helped with rough idle. Mine was rattling and the new one doesn't. Also, you can get the OEM brand for like $20.

    ahh, yeah just replaced mine also, I also rubbed some high temp bondo around the top edge and let set. now it is extra safe.

    i have replaced an o2 already cleaned my MAF and purge i was looking for loose tubes when i found the check valve issue

    I find it really unlikely that the check valve would be the cause of that.

    I just replaced mine also. Apparently there was an update to that part as the older one was prone to coming apart, I wasn't able to find much about it in relation to the s4 but that's what I read in the a4 forum. Seems that either it comes apart more often for them or maybe the slight vac leak just gets noticed more since they're boosted. It will cause a vacuum leak but if I'm not mistaken that would be more likely to cause a lean condition, so there must be something else causing the rich codes.

    yeah im a lil stumped someone said i its a leak, or spark plugs or still my MAF im gonna start by the valve check the check my plugs
