    2009 Transmission/Torque Converter Issue

Ok...so I've searched up and down and couldn't find much so I apologize if I'm rehashing old topics. Long story short, I have an 09 premium auto with 130k on it that about 2 months ago I completely rebuilt the motor after the timing chain tensioner failed. Completely rebuilt the damn thing from top to bottom, new turbo, etc. Was running better than it ever had, until few days ago it starts to shift very rough, typically going from 3-4 / 4-3. It's been intermittent but sometimes it's pretty bad with a surging sensation/delay getting into gear/ and slippage. Yesterday, I was sitting on a hill in traffic stopped, went to move forward a little ( car was in 1st going from stopped position) and i felt a grinding/vibrating sensation, then felt as though the transmission went into neutral (gear selector on dash still indicated D1) and started rolling backwards followed by the engine stalling.

I'm at a loss and basically assuming the transmission is shot. To my knowledge the transmission fluid has never been changed ( bought it used at 90k). Just looking for any thoughts here or suggestions, gotta say I'm pretty frustrated that after putting so much time and money into the motor this starts to happen. Thanks in advance for you help and thoughts.

Yup, I've scanned for codes and it came up clean. I was looking t it tonight and it looks like one of the trans cooler lines may have a leak at the connection into the radiator. So im gonna pull it apart tomorrow and take a look, if that's what it is who knows how low the trans fluid is so I'll be draining and refilling probably.
