The New Panamera out, what do you guys think?

2017 Porsche Panamera is out and it looks stunning to my eyes. I can see myself getting one in the next few years when I'm done with RS7 and the look of next generation RS7 can't beat the Panny. It's pretty much a dream car to have everything from look, handling, and practicality.

What do you guys think?

Looks ALOT better than the original. I hated the rear look. Bubble butt. New model looks sleeker.

As you can see from my past cars .... I LIKE Porsche's.

It looks nothing like an rs7 anywhere. They did a great job of pulling that family design tail off the 991 and it looks fantastic.

Sorry, I am just not a fan of any "4 door" coupe. I'd never buy one, but the 7 is not a completely heinous one. The Panamera...meh...

Agreed. I love the looks of the new Panamera. They completely got rid of the hunchback look to the rear end. For now, this definitely goes to the top of the list for my next car to replace the S6 when the time comes.

From what I have seen online, you just love Audi. Nothing wrong with that at all, but I remember you weren't even too thrilled with your e92 M3, a car that I thought was damn near perfect all around.

Sometimes I think it would be cool to own a Porsche, so that when everyone at Starbucks tells me I own a sweet "porsh", I can correct them and tell them it's pronounced "porsh-A". Aside from that, meh.

Good feedbacks everyone! I totally agree with the comments that they really have turned around the car that was mocked as one of the ugliest to an attractive one. I hate the rear end of the current gen Panamera so much but I totally can see myself picking up the one. However, with similar options to RS7 the Porsche will cost significantly more and I'm not sure that I want to spend that much to have a P-car.

Well, the new Panamera looks better than the old one (not such an ugly tail as the old Panamera).

Tesla S takes a cue from the Audi S7, then Porsche adjusts the Panamera to look more like a Tesla.

True, I do enjoy the audi designs they currently have, they speak to me more than any of the other manufacturers for the most part. One exception is the Cayman GT4, love that car, so want one. The E92 M3 was ok, i liked the performance for the most part but the looks never grew on me. Frankly i liked the E46 better, perhaps because i wanted it so bad when i was younger. Would be nice to see a good side shot of the panamera, that's when you can really tell how it looks so i won't pass judgement on it completely just yet. I think it's a bit of a mistake to combine a much smaller porsche coupe rear end with the big panamera design, but that's me.

My two cents, although looks are subjective I think the RS7 is a much nicer looking car with a far superior interior. In order to match RS7 speed you have to spend a lot more money. The Porsche however handles much better than the RS7 as you can see in many on line reviews and on youtube. I had a 2000 911 that I bought used and have to say i really miss the handling and convertible. I do love my RS7 its a muscle car dressed in a fine tuxedo

It's definitely much better looking than the outgoing version. As someone have said already, I'm old school too and a Porche (Por-sha) should just have 2 doors! When is Ferrari and Lambo going to build 4 door sedans?!?! How about a R8 V10 Plus Squared hatchback?

I'm a big porsche fan, almost got the 911 on a few occasions and owned the Macan. I like the look of the new Panamera, but that being said, to get to the same level as my current S6 (ie: V8 TT), you'd be looking at 120k+. That's a big premium over the $80k I paid for the almost-fully-loaded '16 S6.

Yes, so dope! The Turbo version has 550HP and I'm sure that the next MY they will release Turbo S version and that thing will make close to or even more than 600HP.

I'm also interested in the wagon version and Porsche USA also promises to bring that version over in 2018. Without the hope for Audi to bring RS6 to the states, the possibility for me to jump over to Porsche is quite high.

As a true P-Car fan, this being my first Audi, I am really excited to see the new Panamera. When I was shopping to replace my daily driver, as well as my '14 911, I really wanted a Panamera S. Two things took me to the S7. 1: The availability of a CPO Panamera S at the time I needed a car just wasn't working for me. 2: The rear end of the Panamera bugged me immensely. So here I am ... perfectly happy with my S7. When I get tired of the S7 in a few years, a CPO'd Panamera of this generation will definitely be on my list. Im not sure I dig the rear spoiler though. I like the mechanics, but it looks really big in that animated pic. It's a Panamera, not an STI or a GT3. :)

I do kind of have an issue with the "snobbery factor"... I already take a little heat in my circle(s) and not sure how I would get around that with a Porsche. I could just get more wealthy friends, but I typically don't like those kind of people as much. :P

The car is gorgeous. What's not gorgeous is the 165k price for a built turbo car with a few options. At 165k for the turbo, not even the turbo s, I am reaching mclaren 570s territory. And guess who wins then!

Who knows Ina couple of years. Maybe I ll get a lease allowance from my work!
