BTW! Mops.....what's the stuff I need to buy from Adams for tire shine......these Continentals aren't taking any shine to them whatsoever.

I like the chemical guys tire product. Makes the tires nice and black without the oily sheen.

Those continentals are a harder rubber but this is mine after coating with the natural shine dressing after 1 week

I use the same Chemical Guys natural shine product. It results in a more satin looking finish than your typical tire shine and has pretty good durability.

Take the inner plastic cover off the tailgate, and unbolt the wiper arm, then unbolt the wiper motor. Has a total of three bolts I believe holding it in. I put a plug into the hose that would normally be used to squirt water. Put in the metal cover that seals the hole from the wiper, and done! Checked back multiple times for any leakage and had none.

I'll be with this car at least another 4 months I think. Possibly 10 or so. And I'd reverse it, or carry the parts to my dealer. My dealer situation is very unlike most.

Well. Cutoff the rear mufflers and threw on a pair of Magnaflows with some 4" oval tips. I like it, slightly more rumble but no drone or uncomfortable noise while driving around. Also lucky enough to pick up the rear sway bar from a Conor's SQ.

Another small mod, pics loading...

Added a Rear View Camera kit (my car is concert, no nav) and took the opportunity to add some fatmat to the trunk to keep the rattles down.

Next up, thinking of doing the ECS FMIC and APR Chip

b/c it's a 2.0T. i think apr has a tune for the turbos..maybe other tuners as well (but not epl to my knowledge), since it's a pretty popular engine across VAG line of cars.

Oh ok. I thought they tuned both 2.0 and 3.0. I didn't know EPL didn't do 2.0.

u know what? i shouldn't jump to conclusions here - epl may in fact tune 2.0T's. so i take back what i said since i haven't investigated.

Bumping th thread, getting new rubbers and the latest version of Vorsteiner red caps today, so will take pics.....

Went to the DWS06, sticking to the 295/35/21 of course. Pumped to have new rubber......
Coincidentally the truck is getting new rubber too, probably should snap pics of that as well. 37” BFGs

Went from Conti SportContact (treadwear rating of 220 I think) to the COnti DWS06. Noticed pretty instantly that the DWS is a little more cush..... a little less grip it felt like too, but I am ok with that. The ride comfort is worth the exchange. Took advantage and swapped out the center caps for Vorsteiners latest version.

Friday night, the Garage stunk of new rubber (YUMMMM). Truck also got new rubber, pics of that below.
