Is my price too high? (2010 Audi A5)

I have been to that East Haven carmax 3 times now. It's a quick and convenient way to get a quote, but I haven't once gotten a quote that wowed me. Just enough to make you think about not having to deal with private party selling.

We brought my wife's Ford Taurus there the last time, they offered us more than what Subaru (branford) would give us for a trade-in, but less than what Jeep (North Haven) gave us for a trade-in.

I sold my Honda S2000 there many years ago when it first opened. They came back from the inspection and said "We noticed the VIN on the fender doesn't match the original", I told them I forgot about that. They never said anything about the replaced engine, rear bumper, trunk, and ton of other issues with the car. I was in a rush to sell it, but I probably got a decent deal.

I went there as well with my F-150 they offered me 3k under blue book but I was hoping this might be better since the F150 would have had to go to auction and they can actually sell the A5

True. My S2000 offer was about 4k under blue book, and they said it would be going to auction as well.
