On the same file cars using 93 in other parts of the country would have no knock issues. Until I was mixing E25+ I’d see quite a bit of timing pull.
Next time I head in I'll put some 100 octane in or find some E85. It'll be interesting to see how much of a difference that makes.

Hi, this is my best time so far at sea level, APR ultracharger, unfortunately was using launch control at the time too much wheel spin, room for improvement. Will be adding headers and ported blower next time, an no launch...

122mph is pretty great at that D/A, you run a 93 octane file right?

I went to the track last Thursday. It was rather hot.... 91F when I arrived.

    Temperature during the run: 89F
The D/A hovered near 3,000ft D/A (approx 2990ft on my runs)

I ran near a 1/2 tank of fuel tonight (slightly under actually), like always. Full spare/jack/tools, like always. My tires are near 3/32nds, but the track surface was warm enough and I launch low enough to where it doesn't matter, pressures are set to 38psi front/37psi rear (cold pressures).

Launch method: engage LC sequence, module gas near 2,000rpm, once I let go of the brake, stomp the gas pedal past kick down. Nice clean shifts

Breakdown of the run #2 (only ran twice):

    60ft 1.673
    330ft 4.732
    1/8 7.254
    MPH 98.43
    1000ft 9.411
    1/4 11.230
    MPH 124.59

IAT's were 100% under control, couldn't had asked for better IAT considering it was 89F on both runs. The 194mm is working itself out to be pretty great as temperature's rise, performance remains more consistent year-round now. Previously on my "baby 179" I could only muster 118mph in this temp.

Mods: APR UC race file (e85/93 octane), APR TCU, 194mm crank, 57.55 upper, Tampa Autosports ported blower & test-pipes, Modded OEM intake, Killerchiller w/ AWE & PLM reservoirs, Autotech HPFP, "Lift-pump" mod.

@Loe, what type of wheels and tires are you running? Sorry if it’s been covered before, but given you guys are trying to shave tenths at this point, I would imagine even 5 lbs per corner of unsprung weight per corner would make a material difference. I saved more like 15 lbs per corner off the stock wheels, but I drive a soccer mom wagon.

Still running OEM S5 Rotors (29.5lbs I believe), 19x9 in size. Stock brakes, stock exhaust (minus the test pipes, "added" weight via an SQ5 H-pipe for sound purposes). I can think of ways to reduce weight, but really I never even thought I'd venture this far into modding, that's why I've kept it the way it has been appearance-wise and kept my mods rather "basic" or low-key.

Wow.. that killer chiller keeps those IAT's pretty low! Friday's runs at the track I was starting off in the mid to high 40C in 70F temps.
