    Rear doors cannot be opened.

Central Locking Module: windows and sunroof not working. changed module. Working (but not remote). Now REAR DOORS CANNOT BE OPENED (not even with handle from the inside).

Any ideas how that is possible? Inside handle should override everything.

Car has known air leak at front passenger door (maybe others).

Child safety stuff must be on?
I think I would be putting the mini mighty vac on a line somewhere and try to get the right one.
Might be able to look at another car and see where the child lock switch is in the jamb and rig up some kind of slim jim to get at it.
There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

I know that you mentioned that you changed the module and it is working except not with the remote, but if you hit the lock/unlock button on the driver's door, then does that have any effect on the rear door button pin (the thing that sticks up vertically)?

I just tried this on my 2001 A6, and I activated the left rear door child sensor, closed the door, and then locked the doors with the switch on the driver's door. I then hit that lock/unlock button on the driver's door, and the left rear door button pin lifted up halfway, but didn't allow the door to be opened from the inside, but did allow it to be opened from the outside. Anyway, main question is if the lock/unlock button on the driver's door has any effect for your car. - Jim

lol can't say i've had that issue, i'm with zilla as far as getting it unlocked and open from the outside. windows, remote, and sunroof would be unrelated. You're talking cables i believe, and a separate vacuum system for the locks. the child safety lock i believe is mechanical on the door mechanism itself, and that's probably what disabled the interior pull override on the locks.

"manual" way to unlock? Apply vacuum (or pressure?) to one of the lines at the pump?

Looking at a pump, only 2 ports so guessing the valves are at the locks and not going to be able to hit one remotely.

If you could look at another car to see where you need to poke n hope to get at the switch, you may be able to turn the child locks off with door closed.
This will take some major Helen Keller skills

I think I have heard of people using something like hot glue to to stick to the top of the lock button temporarily to pull them up.
Iirc, it pops back off cleanly.

    .
Checked Allroad: there the child safety is a round knob/disc with slot in it. Can't be reached with door close. Not sure if same for S4.
