Hello to all , as the Navi sat is zero satellites , most likely the GPS antenna shark form is gone . I've got the original parts on Ebay , but I would like to know how to disassemble the GPS antenna on the roof ?
    Thank you

I have not had to do this, however Im pretty sure if you remove the rear interior light fitting, you can access the base of the antenna for removal.

Quite a few people have replaced their antennas - maybe someone who has done this can chime in.

Think it starts with dropping the headliner. We had to replace one of these when my wife lowered the old garage door (without sensors) on her A4 and then pulled it back into the garage with the door on the car. First day she got the car. That was awesome.

There's an insurance commercial in the making for that story.

Definitely. I found out from my mom actually. She called me to break the news and apparently thought I was going to beat my wife or something so she wanted to soften the blow. Who knows, but my wife caller HER crying about it and wanting her to call me. Not only was it the first day she had the car, but I think it was in the first hour.

As an aside: she refuses to drive the RS7. Probably for the best.

Everyone has seen the bike on the roof-rack into the garage commercial I am guessing. My buddy was ~23, just bought his first house and did that exact move. He had a pretty nice bicycle on the roof, forgot about it, and immediately after closing was all excited to pull into his new garage ... BOOM! House and auto claim within the first thirty minutes of homeownership.
